Join HL Joe Kiczek (C) 484-639-8824, jskiczek@verizon.net, for this backpacking trip of 4 nights and 5 days. We’ll do AT Sections 15 to 18 in Central Virginia for a total of 48 +/- miles.
Trip begins at Rockfish Gap and ends at Salt Log Gap. June 9th is a travel day arriving at Stanimals in Waynesboro by 11:30 AM for a Noon shuttle to the trailhead, then hike 5 miles to the Paul Wolfe Shelter.
Day 2: Hike 16 miles to the Maupin Field Shelter. Day 3: Hike 6 miles to the Harper’s Creek Shelter. Day 4: Hike 14 miles to the Seeley-Woodsworth Shelter. Day 5: Hike 5 miles to Salt Log Gap for shuttle back to Waynesboro and head home.
