This is a shuttle hike. We will meet at Hawk Watch and shuttle to Peter’s Rock (Officially known as first State National Historical Park- Smith Bridge Picnic Area) . From Peter’s Rock, the planned route is through FSNP, BCSP, Alapocas SP, and finishing at Hawk Watch. Participants can hike at their own pace or hike with the leader (~3 mph). Bring water, snacks, and lunch. Expect well worn trails with roots and rocks, hills, and a couple of stream crossings. Heavy rain will alter or cancel the hike.

From the intersection of DE-100 (Montchanin Rd) & DE-141 (Powder Mill Rd). Take DE-100 (Montchanin Rd) north & proceed 2.1 mi. Turn right onto Adams Dam Rd. Then left at the park entrance. Stay right to reach the lot.
