Meet Hike Leaders Alison and Bob Gagnon 610-547-0034, robertgagnon@verizon.net, for a day hike on Section 6A of the Appalachian Trail in Pennsylvania.. The hike is from PA501 to Swatara Gap, Swatara State Park. This will be a shuttle hike.
Hikers are asked to have completed at least 3 documented hikes with the CCTC. Those who do not meet this criteria but wish to participate, and guest hikers, are asked to contact the HL at least 72 hours before the hike.
Location: meet AT trail access parking at Swatara State Park at 8:30 AM.
Directions: Meet at the AT access parking lot at Swatara Gap, Moonshine Road, Swatara State Park, at 8:30 am. GPS Coordinates: 40.4818, -76.5507. We will shuttle to the AT access parking lot at PA Route 501, Bethel, PA, at 8:30 am. GPS Coordinates: 40.5127, -76.3446.
