Meet HL Bill Gehrman, 610-996-3512, for a hike from Chestnut Hill to Center City. We will have a late lunch at McGillins Old Ale House, then take the train back to Chestnut Hill at 4:05PM (seniors ride free). We will pass through the “Schuylkill Navy Regatta” taking place that weekend.
Carpooling: If you want to join a carpool, meet me before 8:15 near Starbucks in the Gateway Shopping Center: 171 Swedesford Road, Wayne, PA 19087. We will leave promptly at 8:15.
The hike will begin promptly at 9:00 at the ACME parking lot (near the train tracks) at 7700 Crittenden St, Philadelphia, PA 19118: GPS: ( 40.07145322, -75.194456 ).
Bring plenty of water, snacks, and money. Lunch will be late.Expect to arrive back at the ACME at 4:50 PM.
