Meet Hike Leader Bob Gagnon 610-547-0034, robertgagnon@verizon.net, for a day hike. The hike is from Route 309 to Eckville, near Hawk Mountain.
This will be a shuttle hike. Please contact the hike leader so logistics can be determined.
Hikers are asked to have completed at least 3 documented hikes with the CCTC. Those who do not meet this criteria but wish to participate, and guest hikers, are asked to contact the HL at least 72 hours before the hike.
Directions: Meet in the AT access parking lot off of Pine Swamp Rd in Eckville, near the Hawk Mountain Sanctuary, at 8:30 am. Take I-476 N to I-78 W to PA-737 N in Greenwich Township. (Take exit 40 from I-78 W.) Continue on PA-737 N. Turn left onto PA-143 S. Turn right onto Hawk Mountain Rd to left on Pine Swamp Rd in Albany Township. Access road to the parking area is about 1.7 mi, on the left.
